Arrive at Mangalore Airport and transfer to Bekal in the Kasaragod district. For those arriving by train, disembark at Bekal or Kanhangad railway station. Relax and enjoy an overnight stay at a homestay or resort in Bekal. Â
After breakfast, start your day with sightseeing at the iconic Bekal Fort and the serene Bekal Beach. Depending on your interests and available time, explore nearby temples and other attractions. In the evening, visit Azhimugha Beach or Kavvayi Beach for a tranquil experience. Optional activities include a river walk, island camping, fiber boat rides, or kayaking. After breakfast, spend the morning at leisure before heading to an eco-friendly resort in Cheemeni. The resort is built entirely from mud, offering a unique and sustainable stay. Overnight at the Cheemeni resort. Â
After breakfast, immerse yourself in an authentic Kerala village experience. Witness rubber tapping and sheet-making processes, explore honey and areca nut processing, and observe toddy tapping and tender coconut cutting. The day also includes a demonstration of Kalaripayattu, Kerala’s ancient martial art, and the option to enjoy a refreshing river walk, a bath, or a fiber boat ride. Spend the day visiting the major attractions of the Wayanad hill station, including lush greenery, waterfalls, and historical landmarks. End the day at a different homestay or resort for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Kannur Airport or the nearest railway station based on your departure schedule. Bid farewell with beautiful memories of North Kerala. Â
